Our colonic irrigation sessions are with an open system called a Libbe.

It is extremely user-friendly and clients find it to be quite comfortable and even relaxing - so relaxing that some have fallen asleep during their session.

About Colon Therapy

  • What is a Colonic?

A colonic is a safe and effective method of removing waste from the colon, (also referred to as the large intestine or bowel) without the use of drugs or harsh laxatives.

By introducing a constant low-volume stream of purified warm water directly into the colon, in order to hydrate and cleanse the entire 5 and 1/2 feet of the colon. The waste matter is eventually softened and loosened, resulting in a natural evacuation through peristalsis (movement of the colon).

  • What are the Benefits of Colon Therapy?

Colonics, a healthy diet, periodic cleansing and fasting have long been associated with longevity and good health, especially for those who deal with constipation.

Colonics have also become well known for jump-starting any new weight loss program, as well as maximizing the results.

Most people schedule colon cleansing sessions based on the fact they are feeling sluggish and bloated for many different reasons. It could be the side effects of pain medications causing constipation. It could also be a desire to turn an unhealthy lifestyle or eating habits around.

Most people's comments after having had a couple of colon hydrotherapy sessions are that they feel lighter, cleaner, have more energy and find a newfound motivation in turning over a new leaf.

What is a session like on an open system?

  • Option for complete assistance or complete privacy

Because the Libbe device is a gravity system (no pressure) the client can have the best of both worlds... they can have the therapist in the room assisting them during the entire session.

Or once the colon therapy session has commenced, and after the client is acclimated and experiencing favorable results... the client can opt to have complete privacy in the treatment room...

But still, have the therapist be at their beck and call (with the therapist being in the adjacent room, waiting for the client to ring the call button).

  • No pain, mess, or odor

There is no pain involved, you can expect to feel the same feelings you would normally feel during a natural evacuation of the colon. It is not embarrassing, the client is draped and covered throughout the entire session.

There is no mess or odor. The Libbe open device is equipped with a built-in ventilation system that removes any odor from the room, as well as a clear viewing tube that allows the client and therapist to easily view the released waste for evaluation.

The disposable rectal nozzle is small... the diameter of a pencil or straw (which is quite an improvement for comfort compared to other systems used for colonics, that use a much larger nozzle).

  • How long is a session?

The colon therapy sessions are 45 minutes on the colonic table with approximately 15 minutes of more releasing afterward, (in the clients own private bathroom/dressing room).
