Today's sophisticated technology promotes both safety and sanitation of this popular cleansing practice. Modern colonic therapy devices are manufactured through compliance with strict FDA guidelines that dictate rigorous accountability. The FDA-registered colonic device at A Colonic Studio features a separate temperature-controlled water mixing unit, with back flow prevention.

The Libbe is a class 2 medical device with built-in water filters and UV light for extra purification. The filters are changed every 30 days and the UV light annually.

We always use sterile disposable rectal nozzles and medical grade tubing. Which are of course, thrown away after each use. The Libbe colonic device is completely sanitized between each use, with medical grade sanitizing solutions. The entire treatment room and bathroom/dressing room is also sanitized between each client.
